Welcome to the Lauderdale Lakes Chamber of Commerce (“Chamber,” “we,” “our,” “us”). By accessing or using our website https://lakeschamber.com, or by participating in Chamber programs, events, or memberships, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and the Chamber Code of Conduct.

1. Purpose

Our mission is Growing Businesses, Strengthening Communities. The Site provides information about membership, events, sponsorships, merchandise and business resources in Lauderdale Lakes.

2. Membership & Accounts

• Membership applications and payments are processed through the Site.

• Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login details for accessing member-only resources.

• Membership dues are non-refundable.

3. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, designs, and materials on this Site belong to the Lauderdale Lakes Chamber of Commerce. No reproduction or commercial use is allowed without permission.

4. Event Participation

By registering for Chamber events via the Site, you agree to comply with event rules, refund policies, and the Chamber’s Code of Conduct.

5. Chamber Code of Conduct

As members and participants in Chamber activities, you commit to the following:

Professionalism & Integrity

• Conduct all business dealings with honesty, fairness, and transparency.

• Avoid conflicts of interest or disclose them promptly.

• Promote ethical business practices.

Respect & Inclusivity

• Treat all members, staff, city partners, and community stakeholders with courtesy and respect.

• Embrace diversity and foster inclusivity regardless of race, gender, religion, age, or background.

• Refrain from discrimination, harassment, or hostile behavior.

Collaboration & Community Spirit

• Support fellow Chamber members through referrals, partnerships, and networking.

• Participate in Chamber programs to strengthen the local economy.

• Promote a cooperative, positive atmosphere.

Confidentiality

• Respect the privacy of Chamber communications, meetings, and member information.

• Do not misuse confidential or proprietary information for personal gain.

Compliance with Laws & Policies

• Follow all applicable laws and Chamber policies.

• Abide by the Chamber’s bylaws, Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy.

Ethical Promotion & Representation

• Represent your business truthfully in all marketing and networking activities.

• Avoid misleading claims or disparaging other members.

• Use the Chamber’s name and logo only with proper authorization.

Accountability

• Report violations of this Code of Conduct to Chamber leadership.

• Understand that violations may result in corrective action, including suspension or termination of membership.

By joining or participating in the Chamber, you affirm your commitment to this Code of Conduct.

6. Disclaimers & Liability

• The Chamber provides resources for informational purposes only.

• We do not guarantee business outcomes or endorse member businesses.

• To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Chamber is not liable for damages arising from use of the Site, membership, or events.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site or participation in Chamber programs constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
